Rawson Materials opened its second location on Town Farm Road in Putnam, CT.

Added a fleet of trucks (Rawson Trucking).

Rawson opened yet another location on Black Hill Road in Plainfield, CT.

3rd GENERATION AND COUNTING

Allan’s son, Jeffrey, graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, MA and began his full-time employment with the company, becoming the 3rd generation to manage Rawson Materials.

New location opened on Norwich Road in Plainfield, CT.

Purchased the assets of Cherenzia Excavation on Old Hopkinton Road in Westerly, RI.

Acquired the operational rights and assets to the Rampco Construction Co. Inc. quarry located at 123 Oxford Avenue in Dudley, MA – which is now our Plant #9 location.

Acquired the stock of Sterling Concrete Corp. located in North Oxford, MA and will continue to offer comprehensive commercial and residential ready-mix concrete at (2) facilities. (North Oxford & Sterling, MA)
