Jeffrey A. Rawson
Rawson Materials President
Jeffrey A. Rawson began his full-time employment with Rawson Materials in June of 2001 after graduating from Assumption (College) University in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor of Arts where he double majored in Sociology and Political Science and double minored in Philosophy and Anthropology. As a student of the human relations disciplines and a firm believer that it is his civic responsibility and the responsibility of Rawson Materials to give back to the communities that have provided personal and business opportunities, Mr. Rawson is a member of the Rotary Club of Putnam, CT, Board Member for the Assumption University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a director for Northeast Opportunities for Wellness, Inc. and the Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation. He has also obtained a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) and is an Ordained Minister. Mr. Rawson, husband of Jessica and father of two sons and a daughter (Beau, Blake and Grace) was honored as a finalist for the Hartford Business Journal’s Nonprofit Heroes Volunteer of the Year Award, was named a Paul Harris Fellow (X4) by both the Putnam and Danielson Rotary Clubs and Business Leader of the Year by the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
Steven S. Jordan
Senior Vice President
Steve Jordan has been employed with Rawson Materials since July of 1996, initially as an equipment operator and mechanic, and was eventually promoted to Mobile Equipment Manager and Senior Vice President. Steve resides in Sterling, Connecticut with his with wife Joyce and their three children where they enjoy farming, plowing and spending time together.
Ben Rawson
Assistant Vice President
Ben Rawson became part of the Rawson Materials team in 2021. He attended Three Rivers College and received an Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He has extensive knowledge in the plant manufacturing and aggregate industry and comes to us with over 30 years of experience. Production proficiency and plant maintenance are key components of his role as Assistant Vice President. Ben resides in Thompson, Connecticut with his wife Joanne and their three children. As a family, they enjoy hiking and traveling.
Madilyn C. Smith
Corporate Counsel & Director of Human Resources
Madilyn Smith joined the Rawson Materials team in May of 2017. Mrs. Smith attended Boston University where she majored in Political Science and went on to attend Liberty University School of Law where she received her juris doctorate. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts. As a member of the Rawson Materials team, Mrs. Smith negotiates and drafts contracts and policies on behalf of the company, advises on legal compliance issues, and oversees all Human Resources matters. Mrs. Smith currently resides in Dayville, Connecticut with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 dogs. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, refurbishing furniture and exercising.
Sergio Rodriguez
Controller
Sergio Rodriguez joined the Rawson Materials team in July of 2022. He graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and went on to attend The University of Connecticut where he received a Master of Business Administration & Finance. As Financial Controller Sergio oversees the finance and accounting functions and aids the firm in its ongoing strategy to continue to be a leader in its field. He resides with his family and a pooch in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. Outside of work you will find Sergio enjoying outdoor activities, sports and travel.
Jon Androlewicz
General Manager
Jon Androlewicz joined the Rawson team in 2023 with over 24 years of experience in the construction and aggregate industry. As General Manager of Rawson Materials, he oversees all aggregate operations to streamline operational efficiencies and ensure that strategic goals are being met. Jon resides in Dudley, MA with his wife Jowita, their four children, and two dogs. He serves as a member of the Dudley Economic Development Committee and enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
Crystal Simonson
Director of Communications
Crystal Simonson joined the Rawson Materials team in January of 2021. Ms. Simonson attended Eastern Connecticut State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She holds the title of Past-President of the Quinebaug Valley Regional Rotaract Club and is a current member of the Putnam Rotary Club where she co-chairs the Programming Committee, sat on their Board of Directors for the 2021-2023 term, and is currently on their Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term. As a member of the Rawson Materials team, Ms. Simonson controls the flow of information between the organization and the public, manages internal activities as well as philanthropic opportunities within the community, maintains the organizations social media platforms, and creates public relations and marketing materials. She currently resides in Brooklyn, Connecticut with her significant other Edward and loves spending time with family and friends, listening to live music, attending community events, and traveling.
Mike Kimball
Quality Control Technician & Sales & Inventory Manager
Mike Kimball joined the Rawson Materials team in March of 2018. He attended Mohegan Community College in Connecticut, obtained a Drone Pilot License, and has worked in the aggregate industry for over 30 years. As the Quality Control Technician & Sales & Inventory Manager, Mike has multiple roles and daily tasks that are critical to the success of our company. Not only does he collect samples and performs required aggregate testing to ensure aggregate products meet established specifications, but he is also responsible for providing quotations to customers and monitoring inventory levels at plants to ensure adequate material levels based on customer needs. Mike resides in North Stonington and enjoys spending time with his three children and his significant other Kaitlin.
Ronald Dildine
Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer
Ron Dildine joined the Rawson Materials team in September of 2024. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hydrogeology. He has over 20 years of experience across the oil, gas and mining industries, environmental consulting, and state regulatory sectors. As the Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer, Mr. Dildine’s primary focus is on facilitating a safe work environment for all employees and contractors while ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. He resides in Pomfret, Connecticut with his wife, son, and father-in-law. His favorite activities include hiking local parks, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Kayla Morin
HR GENERALIST
Morin joined Rawson Materials in February 2024. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Social Sciences from Eastern Connecticut State University, bringing a diverse skill set to her professional role. Within the Rawson Materials team, Kayla assists in overseeing employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy implementation. A Putnam native, Kayla is deeply connected to her community. She is an active member of the Rotary Club, showcasing her dedication to community service. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys traveling, reading, beach days, and enjoying time with family and friends. She resides locally with her significant other, Zachary, and their two black cats.
Linda O’Brien
Senior Accountant
Linda O’Brien has joined the Rawson Materials team as our Senior Accountant. She has been in the Accounting and Management field for more than 20 years and is an Alumnus of Bentley College of Waltham, MA. Her responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and various Financial Reporting. Linda currently resides in Medway, MA with her husband and loves spending time with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren who reside close by. Linda enjoys participating in various running events and travels often to Cape Cod for relaxation.
Pam Johnson
Senior Accountant
Pam Johnson recently joined Rawson Materials as Senior Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction industry. Pam graduated from Bay Path University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Science degree in Accounting. Pam resides in North Oxford, MA and in her free time she enjoys walking, going to the beach, attending sporting events and the theater, as well as spending time with her nieces and nephew.
Michelle Thoma
Staff Accountant
Michelle Thoma has over 25 years of accounting experience. She joined Rawson Materials in January 2023. As Staff Accountant, she is responsible for all the company’s accounting functions; Billing, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, Taxes and Payroll. Michelle resides in Canterbury, CT with her hardworking husband, two sons and daughter on their 6th Generation Family Owned and Operated Farm. She enjoys photography, camping at the lake, sitting by the campfire, snowmobiling, spending time with her family and friends, as well as working together with them.
Eileen McKenna
Accounts Payable
Eileen McKenna is responsible for the accounts payable for Rawson Materials. She joined the Rawson team in March 2018 and fills in as a scale operator when the need arises. Eileen resides in Brooklyn with her son and his family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three grandsons. She loves being outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, a day at the beach and night by the fire are some of her favorite activities. She also enjoys visiting National Parks in California with her daughter whenever she can get out there.
Donna M. Faucher
Accounts Receivable
Donna Faucher has been a member of the Rawson Materials team since May of 2003 where her responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Scale Operations and various monthly reporting protocol including DEP. Donna resides in Putnam, Connecticut with her husband and their four dogs. She has two grown sons who are the pride and joy in her life. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, day trips, walking, hiking, and reading.
Shari L. Gluck
General Manager of Rawson Trucking
Shari Gluck joined Rawson in May of 2007. As General Manager of Rawson Trucking, her duties include dispatching of the truck fleet, providing quotations for specific jobs, pricing materials for customers, overseeing driver performance, maintaining driver files, oversight of regulatory and compliance with respect to DOT permits. Shari currently resides in Plainfield, Connecticut with her husband Kevin with whom she enjoys farming, snowmobiling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
